My husband and I just ate here, and although they were getting ready to close up early due to it being a slower snowy Wednesday night, the staff was SO beyond accommodating and nice, not to mention both of our ribeyes were cooked to absolute perfection!! We were so grateful that they were willing to stay open for us and provide not only exceptional service, but truly one of the BEST steak experiences!! We could taste the love and effort put into our meals. We also got some martinis and the bartender, who was new, NAILED IT! They know what they're doing here! So happy! 100/10 recommend!!

This is the first time I have been to Henry's. The food was delicious! I had scallops and sweet potatoes and both were fantastic! The decor is very unique and cool. My husband had the steak and it was also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

For being in a small town, their food feels like you're coming from the big city. Their meat is great quality and is cooked to perfection. My mouth watered as soon as the tenderloin touched my tongue and was packed with flavor. The environment and ambiance make it perfect for a date. The staff is friendly. Don't sleep on this place, if I didn't live so far away I'd be back for a delectable steak dinner.

The atmosphere is a ten! I like steak on the rare side and the ribeye was prepared perfectly. Garlic mashed and asparagus were perfect sides. The only wish would be for specials to be introduced and plates to be cleared. Would totally recommend and looking forward to going back!

A definite gem in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Embracing the history and culture of the area, this establishment is a must visit! The outside and inside decor honors the history of the Ford auto plant and Henry Ford's love for the area. Upon approaching the stand-alone building, an original Model-T in a lit glass roof display can't be missed, nor can the photo-op Model-T at the entrance next to the antique looking lights on the deck. Upon entering the bar area, one is greeted by a modern, chic decor, accented with historcal Ford artifacts and photos. With plenty of seating, a friendly staff, and inviting local patrons, the bar feels like home! Definitely have a look at their unique drink menu! Seperate from the bar, the restaurant treats you to a whole other experience. Much like an elegant 1940s super club, Henry's embraces the dark, moody, private ambiance. Outlets at many tables to charge your phone is a nice touch! Al Capone himself would have appreciated a dirty martini in a fine establishment such as this to accompany chef made cuisine. Known for their aged steaks and fish fries, Henry's goes beyond with an extended menu of delicious appetizers, an amazing French onion soup, fresh salads, and a selection of local Italian favorites. I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to mention the private party room, which can be booked for a small dinner party or a large casual gathering. Check their Facebook, as they often have incredible live music here, too! It is one of the best local family business restaurants in the UP!

Cut to the chase, for a place with steak in its name I had high expectations, especially since I was told they carried aged steaks. It wasn't until I sat down that I realized it was wet aged rather than dry aged. Big difference. Anyhow, it didn't seem like the wet aging helped much with the flavor as the steaks themselves didn't taste very beefy. Not only that, they came out medium instead of medium rare. And yes, I'm one of those folks who will judge you for ordering well done steaks. I'm kidding (but not really). I didn't send the steaks back because I'll tolerate medium rather than wasting food. Plenty of sides to choose from but whatever you do, don't choose the mashed potatoes- especially garlic mash. It's instant mashed potatoes and tastes every bit of instant and none of potato. The garlic seasoning they used was probably just garlic salt and dehydrated garlic bits which tasted so bitter. I chucked the leftovers cuz it was that bad. The French onion soup was decent, though the broth itself lacked in flavor. At least the cheese was gooey and browned on top. The mixed cocktail was decently priced and quite tasty. Overall, I'd go back for drinks and ambience. Maybe I'll try some more food, but not the steak. 3 stars for the food, but I'm giving an extra star because this area is severely lacking nice restaurants so I'm hoping this place will succeed. They just need to improve their namesake - Steaks! By the way, the steaks have prices now. It's no longer on menu as market price. And overall prices were decent compared to big city steakhouses.
